Renault has confirmed that the new-gen Duster, unveiled in the global market earlier this year, will come to India sometime in 2025.
Ahead of its arrival, the upcoming SUV has been revealed in right-hand drive guise for the first time. The RHD version of the new-gen Duster was showcased at an event in South Africa.
The right-hand-drive Renault Duster will go on sale in the South African market in March 2025. The RHD version carries forward the same exterior design, interior, cabin features, and tech as the global model, with the position of the steering wheel being the only difference.
The RHD Duster SUV is said to be manufactured in India and exported to other global markets. It will be the first new product among a few others expected to come to the Indian market.
Once introduced in India, the new-gen Renault Duster will be positioned above the Kiger. It will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Curvv, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder; among others.
