MG ZS EV launched at Rs. 20.88 lakh

MG has announced the pricing for the ZS EV. The electric SUV is available in two variants - Excite and Exclusive priced at Rs. 20.88 lakh and Rs. 23.58 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Prices at the time of pre-booking (prior to January 17, 2020) were about Rs. 1 lakh less.

The MG ZS EV comes with projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, roof rails and a spoiler.

On the inside, the car comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, push button start stop with Smart Entry, 3-level Kinetic Energy Recovery System, cruise control, auto headlamps with follow me home function, air-conditioning and power adjustable ORVMs.

Powering the ZS EV is an electric motor producing 141 BHP and 353 Nm. It comes with a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The claimed maximum range on a single charge is 340 km. MG claims that the battery can be recharged to 80% of its capacity in 50 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger.
