MG Motor India has launched the updated ZS EV facelift. The electric SUV is available in two variants: Excite and Exclusive, at a price tag of Rs. 21.99 lakh and Rs. 25.99 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The new ZS EV is based on the MG Astor. The styling is similar to the petrol-powered version except for a few details. The EV gets a blanked-off grille which is flanked by reprofiled headlamps. The rear features redesigned LED taillights and the car rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the ZS EV facelift comes equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The outgoing car had an 8-inch head unit and analogue dials.
Other features offered on the ZS EV facelift include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 6-airbags, 360-degree camera, blind-spot detection, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, hill descent control, ESC and TPMS.
Powering the 2022 ZS EV is a 50.3 kWh battery and an electric motor with an output of 174 BHP and 353 Nm. The battery is said to offer a maximum range of 461 km on a single charge. MG claims a 0-100 km/h time of 8.5 seconds.
