MG launches Petrol CVT variants of the Hector & Hector Plus

The CVT gearbox is available in two variants - Smart and Sharp.

MG has introduced new petrol-CVT variants of the Hector SUV with prices starting at Rs. 16.52 lakh (ex-showroom).

The CVT gearbox is offered in both the Hector and Hector Plus. It is available in two trim levels - Smart and Sharp.

The Hector CVT is powered by a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine that produces 141 BHP and 250 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-step continuously variable transmission (CVT). It gets two drive modes - Eco and Sport.

Based on the updated Hector, the CVT variants come equipped a touchscreen infotainment head-unit that supports Hinglish voice commands. The SUV also gets ventilated seats, wireless charging and an auto-dimming IRVM.
