MG Hector facelift leaked ahead of launch

The updated Hector will get dual-tone interiors and 18-inch alloys.

The MG Hector facelift has leaked online. The updated SUV was snapped during a TVC shoot.

The Hector will receive a few cosmetic changes including an updated front grille that has chrome inserts and a reworked rear fascia which gets a black garnish instead of the red strip. The new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels look way better than the 17-inch rims that are currently available.

The Hector facelift will also get a dual-tone interior just like the Hector Plus. The light coloured upholstery and blue ambient lighting can be seen in one of the images. MG might also add some new features including an auto dimming IRVM to the package.

The MG Hector facelift is likely to be offered with the same set of engines as the current car. These include a 168 BHP 2.0-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
