Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 to be launched on June 8

The Maybach GLS 600 is the most luxurious SUV in the Mercedes-Benz line-up. While it is based on the GLS, it gets bespoke Maybach treatment that adds a few exterior embellishments that set it apart from the regular GLS.

The SUV is offered in 4 and 5-seat configurations. The 4-seater version gets captain seats that have reclining and massage functions. It comes with a centre console that houses a refrigerator to store champagne bottles, dual 12.3-inch screens, a panoramic sunroof and an optional AIR-BALANCE package.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine producing 550 BHP and 730 Nm and is paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The car comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system that provides a boost of 21 BHP and 250 Nm.
