Mahindra XUV700 to get personalized safety alerts

XUV700 drivers will be able to customize the overspeed notification sound.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV700 is set to come loaded with some really interesting safety features. Last week, the carmaker teased the car's Auto Booster Headlamps and now a new teaser confirms yet another safety feature.

These days, all cars are equipped with a high-speed alert system, which warns the driver when the speed exceeds 80 km/h. The notification is usually in the form of a beep.

We now know that the XUV700 will come with Personalized Safety Alerts. The system will allow the driver to customize the notification sound, which is quite a cool feature.

Reports also suggest that the XUV700 will get the most powerful turbo-petrol engine in its class. The SUV is likely to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 197 BHP.
