Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched a new mid-variant for the Gusto scooter. Dubbed HX, it sits between the base DX and top-end VX variants and is priced at Rs. 46,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Like the Gusto DX, the Gusto HX gets features such as tubeless tyres and LED pilot lamps. However, unlike the base variant, it gets a seat that can be adjusted for height between 735 mm and 770 mm. The saddle of the DX variant is fixed at a height of 770 mm. The remote flip key and find-me lamps that come on the top-of-the-line VX variant, are not available on the HX.
All variants of the Gusto use a 109.6 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that develops 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm. The scooter comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and telescopic front suspension. It is available in six colours - iceberg white, galactic black, magnetic magenta, volcanic red, arctic while and raven black.
