Kawasaki has launched the MY2020 Ninja ZX-6R at a price of Rs. 10,49,000 (ex-showroom).
The new Ninja ZX-6R based on an aluminium frame. It measures 2,025 mm in length, 710 mm in width and 1,100 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 1,400 mm and the seat height is 830 mm. The bike's kerb weight is 196 kg and it comes with a 17-litre fuel tank.
The Ninja ZX-6R features twin LED headlamps, an LED tail light and a digital instrument panel with an analogue tachometer. It rides on 41 mm inverted fork suspension with 120 mm of travel at the front and a monoshock at the rear offering 151 mm of travel. The bike comes with a single seat and a side-mounted exhaust.
Powering the Ninja ZX-6R is a 636cc, in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 134 BHP @ 13,500 rpm thanks to a RAM air intake and peak torque of 70.8 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission via a slipper clutch. Braking is handled by twin 310 mm petal type discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and a single 220 mm petal disc at the rear. Other features include ABS, traction control and Kawasaki Quick Shifter, which allows clutchless upshifts.
The MY2020 Ninja ZX-6R will be assembled in India. It is available in a single colour option - Lime Green with Ebony and Metallic Graphite Gray.
