Indonesia: New Toyota Innova details revealed ahead of debut

The all-new Toyota Innova has been revealed in images ahead of its scheduled debut on November 23, 2015.

The new Innova measures 4,735 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1795 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

The Innova will be powered by a 2,393cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 147 BHP @ 3,400 rpm and 342 Nm of torque @ 1,200-2,800 rpm. A 1,998cc, 4-cylinder petrol will be available as well. This unit develops 137 BHP @ 5,600 rpm and 183 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. Both engines will be available with 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. Both engines also get three drive modes - ECO, Normal and Power.

The Innova will come in three trim levels - G Type (base), V Type (mid) and Q Type (top). The Q type diesel comes with features such as LED projector headlamps, alloy wheels, auto air-conditioning, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, TFT MID, auto windows, captain seats for the second row and cabin trays.

It also gets safety features such as multiple airbags, ABS & EBD, keyless entry & go, vehicle stability control and hill assist control.

The new Innova is expected to come to India in 2016.
