Hyundai has unveiled the first design rendering of the upcoming next-gen Santro (codenamed AH2).
The sketch reveals the car's side profile with its tall boy design. The car is expected to get sweptback headlamps in the front and a roof-mounted spoiler at the rear. It has a stepped window line and L-shaped character lines around the wheel arches.
While, this appears to be a conceptual sketch, spy images suggest that the car might look more like a redesigned Grand i10. It is expected to get dual-tone bumpers with black inserts and pull-type door handles.
The next-gen Santro is expected to powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with a manual or an automated manual transmission (AMT). Rumours suggest that Hyundai could announce the official name of the car on October 4, 2018.
