Hyundai India has added an Automatic Gearbox to the Grand i10's Magna trim, which is now priced at Rs. 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now, the Grand i10 can be opted with a four-speed automatic transmission in the Magna and Asta (O) variants.
Hyundai has recently made many changes in the variant line-up of the Grand i10 hatchback. This includes the deletion of Asta trim, addition of a driver airbag on all variants, and discontinuation of the Automatic gearbox in Asta and Sportz trims. This meant that a customer who wants to buy the Grand i10 AT will need to go for the top-end Asta (O) variant. But now, Hyundai has added the 4-speed automatic gearbox to the Magna variant as well.
The Grand i10 AT is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to generate 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm, along with a peak torque of 114 Nm @ 4,000 rpm.
