Hyundai Creta EV interior leaked via new spy images

The Creta EV will share its electric powertrain with the entry-level Kona EV.

The Hyundai Creta EV has been spotted testing yet again. This time, the spy images reveal the electric SUV’s interior.

While the exterior of the Creta EV will be based on the ICE version, the interior will sport a few unique touches. Spy images reveal a 2-spoke steering wheel with a circular hub and a drive mode selector stalk mounted on the steering column.

The dashboard design looks similar to the ICE-powered Creta though. It will get a dual-screen setup with a touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and a digital instrument cluster. The Creta EV is also expected to get features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.

The exterior design of the EV also looks similar to the ICE version. It has the same L-shaped LED DRLs but is likely to get a blanked-out grille and aero-optimised dual-tone alloy wheels.

Reports suggest that the Creta EV will share its electric powertrain with the entry-level Kona EV. It is likely to be powered by a front-mounted electric motor and a 45 kWh battery pack.
