Hyundai has launched the Aura compact sedan in India. The car is available in five variants priced from Rs. 5.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Hyundai Aura measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,680 mm in width, 1,520 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm.
The Hyundai Aura has a black grille with V-shaped LED daytime running lights, wraparound headlights and triangular fog lamp pods. The car has blacked-out B and C-pillars, and new C-shaped wraparound tail lights. The car rides on 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Aura gets the same dashboard as the Grand i10 NIOS. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging, rear centre armrest and a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
The Aura is available with three BS6-compliant engines including a 1.2-litre petrol unit producing 82 BHP and 113 Nm, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 99 BHP and 172 Nm and a 1.2-litre diesel engine with 74 BHP and 190 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
