Honda ZR-V Hybrid showcased in India at dealer event

The ZR-V e:HEV comes with a 2.0L petrol hybrid paired with an electric CVT and AWD.

Honda recently showcased the ZR-V e:HEV at the annual dealer convention in India. This has raised speculations about the hybrid model being considered for the Indian market.

Images from the event show two ZR-Vs with hybrid powertrains under the hood. The SUV measures 4.56 meters in length and has a wheelbase of 2.65 meters.

The ZR-V has a more rounded design, unlike most modern Hondas. It features an oddly-shaped front grille with horizontal LED headlamps and L-shaped LED DRLs. It has a steeply raked rear windshield, wraparound LED taillights and dual exhaust tips.

Inside, the ZR-V gets a dual-tone dashboard with a minimalistic design and a free-standing touchscreen in the centre. There’s a raised centre console with drive mode switches instead of a conventional gear selector. Other details include a 3-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

The Honda ZR-V comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a CVT and a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid mated to an electric CVT. Both versions have all-wheel drive.
