Honda WR-V diesel is now available in V trim priced at Rs. 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda has also added new features to the S and VX variants.
The V variant is positioned between the S and VX variants. It comes with LED daytime running lights and position lamps, front fog lamps, ORVMs with integrated turn signals, chrome door handles, rear micro antenna and 16-inch alloy wheels in a gun metal finish.
On the inside, the V trim gets black and silver upholstery, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice commands, automatic climate control, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, front centre armrest with storage, Honda Smart Key System with keyless remote and engine start/stop button. Standard safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, high speed alert, Brake Over Ride System, pedestrian injury mitigation and multi-angle rear view camera.
Besides this, the S trim now comes with 16-inch alloy wheels in gun metal finish, automatic climate control with touch control panel, fog lamps, speed sensing auto door lock, one-touch up and down operation for driver side window and driver and passenger side vanity mirror. In addition to the aforementioned features, the VX variant gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel and electric sunroof.
The WR-V is available with a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque @ 4,800 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel variant uses a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder unit that develops 99 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and a 200 Nm of torque @ 1,750 rpm and comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
