Last week, we got our first look at the XUV700 in all its glory when a couple of images leaked online. Now, BHPian fundagenie has created a nice rendering that gives us a good idea of how it will look like on the road.
The BHPian has superimposed the undisguised leaked image onto an earlier image of a test mule. Therefore, the proportions of the vehicle are to scale.
Overall, the XUV700 looks like a heavily revised version of the XUV500. Even in this image, the L-shaped LED taillights on the SUV look a bit too large.
Rumours suggest that the XUV700 could be launched on October 2, 2021. The SUV will be offered with a choice of two engines - a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol producing around 197 BHP and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel with an expected output of 182 BHP. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
Thanks to BHPian fundagenie for sharing these images with other enthusiasts!
