China-based Great Wall Motors has posted a video on Twitter confirming its entry into the Indian market.
Great Wall Motors has also registered an Indian subsidiary called Haval Motor India. The company is looking to invest close to Rs. 7,000 crore in the country.
Great Wall Motors is also said to be scouting for a suitable site for its manufacturing plant in India. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with General Motors for the Talegaon plant.
In March 2019, the Haval H6 Coupe was spotted in India, which suggests that the company could be evaluating this model for the Indian market.
