Fiat will launch the Abarth 595 Competizione in India on August 4, 2015.
This 595 Abarth is the high performance sibling of the Fiat 500. It is powered by a 1.4-litre, turbocharged, MultiAir petrol engine that develops 158 bhp and a maximum torque of 230 Nm.
The exterior of the Abarth 595 Competizione features Abarth badges, body graphics, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, aggressive rear bumper, twin exhausts and 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 205/40 section tyres. On the inside, the car gets a flat-bottomed steering wheel, race seats, turbo boost gauge with gear shift indicator and sunroof.
The 595 Competizione will be imported as a CBU.
The 595 Competizione will mark the entry of the Abarth brand in India. The Punto Evo Abarth with a 1.4-litre, turbocharged, T-Jet petrol engine developing 133 BHP, is likely to be the next car to be introduced. The Avventura is also expected to get the same engine in the coming months.
