Toyota has given the Corolla a facelift for European markets. The updated sedan features new and sleeker headlamp clusters with LED light guides, a revised front grille and front bumper and a larger air dam. On the sides, the door handles get new chrome accents and the car is available with a choice of new 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels.
At the rear, the updated Corolla gets new LED tail lights and a slim chrome garnish. Toyota is also offering 3 new colours - 'Platinum Bronze', 'Tokyo Red' and 'Earth Bronze'.
Depending on the market, the entire Corolla model range comes fitted with Toyota Safety Sense as standard. Toyota Safety Sense incorporates a Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Road Sign Assist (RSA) and Automatic High Beam (AHB) and monitors traffic conditions using a windscreen head-mounted unit housing both a laser and a camera.
Toyota offers the Corolla in multiple iterations across the world. The Japanese automaker sells the Corolla in around 150 markets worldwide and the model accounts for around 20% of Toyota's global sales.
