Test mules of the next-generation Hyundai Verna have been spotted in the past. Now the production version of the car has been spotted in China.
According to report, the new Verna measures 4,380 mm in length, 1,728 mm in width and 1,460 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm.
Two variants of the car are seen in the spy images. The car gets a large hexagonal grille, a restyled bumper and sweptback headlamp clusters at the front. The lower variant is seen with halogen lamps while the higher one gets projectors along LED daytime running lights and fog lamps. At the rear, there is a pair of redesigned wraparound tail lamps, a reworked boot lid and a new bumper with a housing for the number plate and thin reflector on both sides.
Other features seen on the higher variant include chrome door handles, a sunroof, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and new alloy wheels.
Hyundai is expected to launch the new model in India in 2017. It will compete against the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and other sedans in the C2 segment.
