BS6 Renault Kwid costs Rs. 9,000 more

Renault has silently launched the BS6 Kwid at Rs. 2,92,290 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Kwid is available in 12 variants. The prices of all variants have gone up by Rs. 9,000 compared to the BS4 model.

The car is powered by a 799cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 53 BHP @ 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm @ 4,386 rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Kwid also gets a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 67 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm @ 4,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT.
