Volkswagen has released a teaser image of the Polo-based Nivus compact SUV. The car is expected to be launched in the Brazilian market around mid-2020.
The teaser image suggests that the Nivus is likely to get wraparound headlights and tail lights, a coupe-like roof line with roof rails and a short rear windshield.
The Nivus is expected to be based on the MQB A0 platform, which will be shared with the new Polo. It could be offered with a 1.0-litre, turbo petrol engine producing 113 BHP, which could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
