Brazil: Honda Fit / Jazz Twist spied

Hatchbacks being turned into pseudo SUVs - it's a trend that still invites a lot of scoffs, but also one that automakers see potential in. A cross version of the new Honda Jazz has been expected for a while now and the new Fit / Jazz Twist has been spied in Brazil.

The test mule is draped in a camouflage, but it evidently has fairly large roof rails and will most likely sport black body cladding and black moulding on the body as well. Beefed up bumpers can be expected too. The previous generation Fit / Jazz was offered as the Fit Twist in the Brazilian market, but that body style never made its way to India.

The Fit Twist will be launched in Brazil in 2016. If the Fit / Jazz Twist is launched in India, it will rival the likes of the Fiat Avventura, Hyundai i20 Active, Toyota Etios Cross and VW Cross Polo.
