Benelli has taken the wraps off the TRK 552X. The new model replaces the 502X adventure bike in the global market.
The Benelli 552X looks like a typical rugged ADV. It has a curved LED headlamp up front with a tall windscreen and a prominent beak. The bike is equipped with a 5-inch digital instrument console and backlit switchgear.
At its heart is a 550cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 60 BHP and 55 Nm. The outgoing 502X has a 500cc engine that delivers 47 BHP.
The 552X is based on a steel tube frame suspended by a Marzocchi USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The brake setup consists of dual discs at the front with a single rotor at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
The Benelli TRK 552X could be launched in the Indian market in the coming months.
