Hyundai has unveiled the Nexo fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023.
The Nexo is a futuristic-looking crossover. It measures 4,670 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,790 mm.
The 5-door SUV has a 95 kW hydrogen fuel cell and a 40 kW battery pack. The SUV has an electric motor rated at 161 BHP and 395 Nm.
According to Hyundai, the Nexo can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 179 km/h. The car is said to have an estimated range of 666 km (WLTP).
Inside, the Nexo is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The SUV also gets features such as a powered tailgate, sunroof and a Krell sound system.
