2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 pre-bookings open in India

The Tiger 1200 will compete with the BMW R 1250 GS and the Ducati Multistrada V4.

Triumph has started accepting pre-bookings for the 2022 Tiger 1200 in India.

The all-new Tiger 1200 made its global debut earlier this month. It comes in two variants - GT and Rally.

The new-gen Tiger 1200 is based on a newly-developed lightweight chassis. It features a tri-link swingarm and a shaft drive. The bike rides on semi-active Showa suspension, while braking duties are handled by twin 320 mm rotors at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.

Powering the 2022 Tiger 1200 is the same 1,160cc, inline 3-cylinder engine that makes 148 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm @ 7,000 rpm.

The Tiger 1200 will compete with the BMW R 1250 GS and the Ducati Multistrada V4.
