2022 Maruti Alto K10 launched at Rs 3.99 lakh

The entry-level hatchback is available in four variants: Std, LXI, VXI and VXI+.

Maruti Suzuki has announced the return of the Alto K10. The entry-level hatchback is available in four variants: Std, LXI, VXI and VXI+. Prices start at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Alto K10 measures 3,530 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height. The car features a brand-new front fascia with a large grille and re-profiled headlamps. The rear has a familiar design except for the squarish tail lamp clusters.

Inside, the new Alto K10 comes with a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a basic digital instrument cluster. The centre console houses a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system that offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, while other features include front power windows, manual AC and remote keyless entry.

The Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre K-Series engine that makes 66 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 89 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. Maruti claims the car delivers a mileage of 24.90 km/l (AMT) and 24.39 km/l (MT).
