2021 Benelli Leoncino 250 unveiled

The India-bound 2021 Benelli Leoncino 250 has been unveiled in the Philippines.

Benelli has introduced the 2021 Leoncino 250 motorcycle in the Philippines. The quarter-litre motorcycle is priced at PHP 1,99,000 (equivalent to Rs 3.06 lakh).

The updated Leoncino 250 carries forward a styling similar to its larger 500cc sibling. This includes LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lights, a fully digital instrument cluster and the lion-cub motif on the front fender.

The 2021 Benelli Leoncino 250 is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder engine. It produces 26.8 BHP and 21 Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle uses 41 mm USD forks at the front and a mono-shock suspension setup at the rear. Braking is handled by a 280 mm disc up front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS as standard.

The 2021 Benelli Leoncino 250 will make its way to Indian shores in the near future, along with other South Asian markets. Once launched in India, the Leoncino 250 will take on rivals such as the Bajaj Dominar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250.
