Triumph Tiger XCA launched at Rs. 13.75 lakh ex-Delhi

Triumph motorcycles India has launched the Tiger XCA at a price of Rs. 13.75 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The latest addition to the brand's "Adventure" range comes equipped with a larger capacity (650W) alternator to power the standard heated rider / passenger seats, heated grips, and LED fog lights, plus other ancillary devices such as GPS systems or heated clothing.

The feature list also includes an advanced ABS system, that comes with road and off-road modes or can be deactivated. The traction control system comes with similar options as well. The XCA also gets 4 different throttle maps that can be changed between rain, road, sport or off-road mode via the switch cube to make the bike adapt to changing terrain conditions. Riders can also configure the bike to the terrain with the choice of 3 rider modes. The modes automatically configure the ABS, traction control, and throttle maps to best tackle the route ahead. Choices include road, off-road, or the programmable rider mode. The programmable rider mode is fully configurable and allows the rider to choose their settings for ABS, traction control, and a choice of four throttle maps independently.

The Tiger 800 XCA features cruise control as standard, along with an advanced trip computer which provides additional functionality such as journey time, average speed, average fuel economy, distance to empty, and instantaneous fuel consumption. The bike also features a 12V power socket for the passenger.

Powering the Tiger XCA is a liquid-cooled, 800cc, in-line three cylinder engine, delivering a power output of 94 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 79 Nm of torque @ 7,850 rpm. Colour options include khaki green and crystal white.
