Tata Motors has announced the launch of the facelifted Safari Storme. The SUV gets some cosmetic and mechanical changes as well as additional equipment and is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Cosmetic changes to the exteriors include a new Land Rover-inspired honeycomb grille for the radiator and air dam and a tweaked front bumper.

Under the hood, the Storme gets a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine, capable of producing 148 bhp @ 4000 rpm (a gain of 10 bhp) and 320 Nm of torque @ 1700-2700 rpm.
