Indian two-wheeler major, Hero MotoCorp has launched the Super Splendor motorcycle with some minor updates. The bike has been priced at Rs. 51,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The updates include new colours - black and purple, red, black, grey, blue and black and red. There are new body graphics and black alloy wheels. The bike's instrument cluster now gets a side stand indicator as well.
Mechanically there are no changes to the Super Splendor. It continues to be powered by same the 124.7 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before. It develops 9.12 PS @ 7000 rpm and 10.35 Nm of Torque @ 4000 rpm and is mated to a 4-speed transmission.
The Super Splendor uses a tubular double cradle type frame with a telescopic fork at the front and 5-step adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. The bike comes with 130 mm drum brakes all round. The front disc has been dropped from the list of optional equipment.
