RE Classic 500 now available in Squadron Blue colour

In January 2016, Team-BHP was the first to bring to you Royal Enfield's 2016 line-up with new colours and additions. The company has now announced the launch of a new colour - Squadron Blue, for its Classic 500 range of motorcycles.

This new colour is said to be a tribute by Royal Enfield to the Indian Air Force, from whom the colour has been inspired. The motorcycle carries over the same engine and features from the regular Classic 500 and is priced at Rs. 1,86,688 (on-road Delhi).

In July 2015, the company introduced the limited edition Despatch motorcycles, which were available in 2 colours - Desert Storm and Squadron Blue. The entire inventory of 200 motorcycles was sold out within 26 minutes from the time bookings opened.

Recently, Bajaj too unveiled the V motorcycle, which is said to be built out of the melted scrap taken from the INS Vikrant. It seems like more and more manufacturers are associating their motorcycles with India's Defence forces to influence the purchase decisions of buyers in the country.
