New images of the 2019 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V have surfaced online. The new bike is expected to get a new headlamp unit as well as a BS-VI compliant engine.
The updated Apache RTR 160 4V is likely to receive a redesigned headlamp that looks smaller than that of the outgoing model. It could house new LED units.
The bike has a digital instrument cluster and fairings that extend from both sides of the fuel tank. It has a stepped seat and a single side-mounted exhaust. The test bike has telescopic fork suspension at the front and alloy wheels. It has a single petal type disc brake at the front.
TVS is expected to offer an upgraded 159.7cc engine that complies with BS-VI emission norms. At present, this single-cylinder, oil-cooled unit produces 14.9 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 13.03 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
