Mahindra has announced the launch of the Automatic variant of the Scorpio. The new variant will be available on the top-end S10 trim level of the SUV in both - two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations.
The Scorpio AT is powered by the same 2,179cc, 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine as the manual transmission version. This engine produces 120 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque @ 1,800-2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Scorpio S10 AT is equipped with features such as static bending projector headlamps, LED eyebrows, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system Bluetooth, CD, DVD, USB and Aux-in connectivity and navigation, automatic climate control, height-adjustable driver's seat, rain and light sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system and dual front airbags. The four-wheel drive version gets a Shift-on-Fly feature.
