KTM RC 390, RC 125 snapped undisguised

We have seen many images of the KTM RC 390 motorcycle, when it was caught on camera during its test runs. But those images were always of the company's test mule and the bike has always been wearing camouflage. Now however, a production-ready version without any cladding has been snapped.

The Team Duke Facebook page has put up pictures of the undisguised RC 390 and the RC 125, which seem to be taken in the parking lot of the company's plant. While KTM has already commenced production of the two models for export, it may have also started producing the bike for India, since the launch is not too far now. The RC 125 however, is not going to be sold in India.

The RC 390 is a full-faired version of the 390 Duke and is powered by the same engine - a 373.2 cc, 43 bhp, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. The RC 390 is heavier and is expected to cost more than the Duke.

Apart from the RC 390, KTM has also planned the Duke 200-based RC 200 for India.

The RC 390 is expected to be launched in Mid-2014.
