Hyundai recently confirmed its first N Line model for India. Now, a Type Approval Certificate has shed light on the variant details and specifications.
According to the government document, the Hyundai i20 N Line will be available in Asta, Asta (O), N6 and N8 variants. It is likely to be offered with the choice of an iMT or dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). The former will come in Asta, N6 and N8 trims, while the DCT will be offered in Asta, Asta (O) and N8 trims.
The i20 N Line measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,775 mm in width, 1,505 mm in height and will have a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. It will be powered by a 998cc, turbo-petrol engine producing 118 BHP @ 6,000 rpm.
Hyundai's N Line range comes with a motorsport-inspired design and is said to offer a sporty driving experience. The i20 N Line gets a sporty body kit, with twin exhausts and larger wheels. The car is also likely to get upgraded brakes and steering.
The Hyundai i20 N Line will be launched later this year.
