Before this, we owned and still own a Vento, Kodiaq, and Tavera—all diesel vehicles. The Vento and Tavera are more than 10 years old. With the 10 year old ban on diesel cars, we had to purchase a new vehicle. We didn't want to spend much on features and simply wanted a sedan with proven build quality and safety. Our choices were the Slavia and Virtus. Since the Slavia wasn't available for at least two weeks, we went with the Virtus.
