Classics being restored in India

Guys here are some pics of Classic cars being currently restored in the garage that my car is being worked upon. Enjoy!

A '62 Impala being restored

A Pontiac in the works, vintage unknown, will confirm & update later

A lovely Wolseley 1600

A lovely '59 Cadillac Eldorado, nearly completed!

I have access to a lot more cars on a regular basis since the owner is a friend. Will update this thread in due course as I snap pictures of more cars.

Since you guys love it so much, I'm gonna try & do a better photo shoot of the car when I'm there again on Monday. Will have the cover taken off etc. etc.

Ishan that Cadillac takes the cake. What a beauty. Reminds me of the Elvis machine. The others are nice too but this car did it for me.

Isnt hat your Vtec next to the Caddi?

Wow! Drool drool!
Thanks Ishan. These pics made my night. Truely love to see more of them. Will definitely wait for your pics.
That '59 El' is just great man! (normally it is a 6 which looks good with that 9! but in this case, a 5 adds more spice to the flavour) Look at the way it strikes it's presence. And those tail fins, man! No wonder Elvis was caught fouling with those.

Do I spot a 47/49/49 Buick Eight/Roadmaster parked next to the Austin and is that a Merc 124 or a 140 S class next to the buick covered?
Also whats a large free flow type tail end doing on the Austin/Morris?? Dont tell me its got a free flow

great stuff...the 59 caddy range is the only car i can think of that can pull off a colour like that...! If I remember corrrectly, the pink cadillac starred in a movie of the same name with Clint Eastwood...

Yup, thats a 47/8 Buick 8...could be super/roadmaster depending on trim.

The Austin/Morris is a Wolesley, actaually a badge engineered Oxford/Cambridge...pretty upmarket car for its time....and that end can was the first thing i saw...its SO wrong!

Ya Karl, maybe its got a wannabe hotrod. and ure right about it not being an Austin or a Morris coz in these cars the rear lights are larger and travel the full length towards the bumper.
My uncle owned an Austin Cambridge Station Wagon like this one and we have had many a comfortable ride in it to Lonavala and Mahableshwar when i was a kid. Cant forget the spacious car.

More coming soon Gogi bhai, going there to collect Dhanno tomorrow so expect lots more pictures!!! And yes it seems to be either a 124/140, will comfirm when I go there tomorrow.

The Wolseley's not got a free-flow but has an end can, noticed it when I saw the car but didn't ask the garage guy. Will clarify tomorrow.

Ok guys, a friend took me a to a spot where he had spotted an old car which he wanted. Here is what I got to see there:

A Jag bodyshell (Mk II I believe), rotting away.

A Perfect?

Another MkII Jag in good condition parked inside apart from some old american metal behind it.

More pics coming

Here is a 8th gen Cadillac Sedan Deville ('77-'84) that was also standing nearby. My friend was referring to this car & now wants one of these monsters with rusted body & all so that he can put it back together!!! Can anyone help us get one for cheap?

Enjoy the pictures even though the car is very, very badly rusted.

P.S. It had MRF's on the front & white wall BF Goodrich's at the back!!!
