This is an image from 1987-place Marine Drive, Mumbai.Standard 2000's and Contessas were in their prime. Premiers/Fiats and Ambassadors dominated the scene and were everywhere.

This picture shows a new Oxford Blue Standard 2000 to the right

How many years ago were these pics taken? So from what I see, there was a lane discipline that was being followed several decades ago & somewhere in between somehow all these has been forgotten!!!

Trust me, it looks so beautiful to watch so many vehicles on the road with road discipline.

Thats a Delhi street flooded in June 1977. One Ambassador is seen stuck. Evidently a Mark 3 which the tail lights show.It has a venetian blind on the rear glass.

(Sorry the newspaper has turned brittle so can't straighten it too)

These two pictures are from September 1971-Jaikishan of the famous duo Shankar Jaikishan passed away and hi funeral cortège is shown leaving his residence.
Undoubtedly this duo is the best thing that happened to Bollywood music for me!

Yet again fantastic set of pics Sir! The 118 NE pic is interesting.
