Both are PM cars -- both '42 Fords. One's my cousin's and another a friend's. Since these are around, I didn't take any photos. I might have earlier pics of my cousin's Jeep. Will need to check when I get home.

Sorry, this car was a late entry and was not our original list so I don't have a ready reference. I think I know to whom it belongs (it was announced at our felicitation, but my memory is not what it used to be

Byas, that car belongs to Dr Mammen. It took 5 years and a loooooooooooooot of money and effort to restore.

Even i was there at the event, saw them driving in the bylanes of whitefield n followed them ... some pics.

Wow!! All cars look in such great condition. What exactly is meant by a private event? Do invites go only to some small set of vintage car owners? If possible, everyone should be invited to see them

yes this was the car from the royal family of Mysore, The driver who was topping up the radiator said so. I got to sit in it too ... it has two small chairs which pop out of the floor, he said it was for the servant to sit.

BMF 5140 is a fellow club members car from Mumbai, its a very original and well maintained 1957 Ponton 219. I was told it has been sent to bangalore for storage.

Well May be it is then, I always knew that the car was up for a soft sale (not in the open market) So I assume that the owner got the asking price which was quite steep. All said and done a very nice and quite rare car. I dont know of another 219 in running condition.

I will miss her following behind my '56 Ponton at the annual Mercedes Benz club rally.
