Hello! There are no real car Museums in South India except perhaps the Hegde collection in Dharmastal near Mangalore. It may be better to send a PM to some of the guys on this forum who are located in south India and they may show you around. There are some private collections in Chennai and Bangalore. Maybe other places too I do not know about. But to see these places you have to do networking. But there is lots to see if you network!

but the problem is many of the enthusiasts in small towns nowdays are wary of taking these foreign guys to these collection owners,because many of them then start to think they are having something not available anywhere else!!!

JAJA, there are a few cars in Coonoor owned by the local RTO. Get in touch I will try to show you some of his collection.

Jaja, I am in Chennai and have a small collection, including a French Traction avant.. You can see pictures of some of them in 'my Garage' in the Team BHP forum.

Hey Jean, thanks for the PM. There are 6 cars lined up here in Annur, this is near Coimbatore. Supposedly up for sale. I spoke to the RTO a while ago and he confirmed the same. You can also have a look at the RTO's collection here.

When you are at Madurai try to get an appointment with TVS group.
They have a Cadillac displayed in their place opposite to Railway Station.

Wow, this car sure has become popular recently!! Quite a few times have it's pics. been posted, including by myself!

It's a '46 Chevy Fleetmaster, belongs to the late owner I'm told.
