Would it be a Dodge or a Plymouth from the 1960s? The picture is too small to identify clearly.

It mostly looks like a Plymouth Belvedere, maybe the car survives in Delhi ?

More like late 50s- kartikeyal recently restored a similar one.

It is from Porbandar. Not sure exactly who though. The narrow radiator shell may indicate a Chrysler family car.

if you go down to the parking lot below, there were a few dilapidated Willys station wagons and older ambassadors etc standing there, i wonder if they are still there. this in now with the MEA, with very limited public access, i went once with a friend who used to have an office there. this is built as a hotel, and the guest rooms have been divided and converted into offices. classic case of wasting prime property.
in the background you can see the sign of the old Chanakya Cinema, which my mother's cousins used to operate.

The car is a 1959 Plymouth Fury, as near as I can tell. The color and trim should end in a circle encompassing the Plymouth logo. I don't know of any trim like that on the less expensive models.

A lovely Wolseley Hornet. Perhaps faster789 or one of the other stalwarts can identify the car and the gentlemen.
This is almost certainly the car owned by collector Protap Roy. Maybe he is in the photo? Over to the stalwarts.

Another period picture appears in Gautam Sen's book on Maharaja motorcars. It survives in a large private collection, though now white.

This appeared in the motoring and aviation, a 15 HP Straker-Squire on a 15000 mile trip in Central India, the car bears non-Indian registration plate.
