The blog also makes interesting reading. Maybe I'll go deeper into it.

The car in the photo below somehow gets my attention. Any comments?

Cheers harit

An early Packard, perhaps a Twin Six?

Re: Nostalgic automotive pictures including our family's cars

A recent lot of photos picked up concerned Parsi's. Many photos were related to Agiary's. And many of these photos had some text behind or on top. These three photos have the writing on the back side shown. Maybe someone would be able to tell us something. Where are these Agiary's? I think the year 1914 mentioned is wrong, the truck and Ford Prefect are from before 1950.
Also, what does the Gujrati text say?
And thern there is this sweet granny in front of the Austin with a Fordson in the background.
Let's have some feedback.

Cheers harit

The date in 1914 could possibly be the date when the Agiary was consecrated.

Harit, what car is this? From the headlights and spoke wheels can we conclude this is a late 20's car. Looks American.

Now over to Harit

Cheers

I really don't know what car this is. American yes but which one? On the hubcap something like an "S" may be seen, but Studebaker? I'm not sure.

The car below is nice, probably American roadster, would not mind having one. It's a period shot of guys on an outing, see the gramophone. I don't see a picnic basket or an ice box. Good boys. BTW, how many guys are there?

Cheers harit
