i can vouch for what pavan is saying
He has been helping me in acquiring classics quite selflessly and enthusiastically unlike a wheeler dealer
we need more people like you pavan
keep up the good work and thanks for all your help

As for the agents name, i think it is always wise to keep it away from open discussion as we have no right to sabotage anyones reputation
in case someones curious, pms are the way to go

cheers

thats actually very smart

maybe thats his way of suggesting that some part of the cost could be recovered if the vehicle is used in ads/commercials/photoshoots

There was this one ad guy who once told me he could organize a photoshoot for my product in a vintage car museum

Standard Prices ,

I could source this single owner / owner driven Super 10 for a friend - from Lucknow city- today , for Rs 45,000 . The old gentleman sold it when he found it difficult to care for the car.

Congratulations to you and your friend on acquiring a great looking car. These Super 10s have a charm of their own (I too was lucky to get mine directly from the 1st owner), and this particular car looks to be ship shape and all intact. These engines are more or less bulletproof, and rarely need work if well looked after. The steering box is another issue altogether, and my only complaint with these cars.

Being a one owner car, did it come with the owner's manual? If so, could I have a photocopy/scan?

Great piece of acquisition Chauhan sir. A very clean bodyline and for that price its a steal IMO. Going by the pollution stickers i think it must have been a weekend drive car for the owner. Does that ORVM on the right fender original to the car?

Hello All ,

I put up the photographs to illustrate the fact that reasonably priced cars in decent condition are available . Please persist without getting stresed by the unreasonable demands .

Regards
Chauhan

True Ajay. A 1960's Amby in a dilapidated condition is available with only a little effort anywhere in India for Rs 25 K or less. Restoration is the easiest as you can even get the windscreen and any other major part of the car. Only the period ornamentations of the Mark II may be a bit tough to get but a car bought for Rs 25K can be restored to showroom condition with another Rs 75 K or so.So its Rs 100 K for a pristine Amby.
