While this is a myth. Many new vehicles are involved in accidents. And mostly is due to the novice driving or rash driving of cab drivers / yellow board cars.

Thankfully so far they have not implemented this and we have had no issues so far running our old cars.

It is very much a general article, there are many errors. I find it interesting that they took this as a topic on 15th August.

The first car in India, was it really Patiala's De Dion Bouton??
The Queen came on the throne on 6 February 1952, so if at all her father would have presented the car. An a wrong car is pictured.
Auto Union is not really defunct, the brand Wanderer is.

Just a few corrections for the record, but it was nice to see the importance given to vintage and classic cars.

She had a letter from the Viceroy (probably some clerk in his office) thanking her for the contribution to the war effort.
