This clipping appeared when the Rally of the Raj was held from Delhi to Bombay (or vice versa I forget which). Lord Montague personally participated in his Silver Ghost, alongwith other high end international entries. He mentions that "Ambassadors will be in vintage rallies one day" - I doubt he would have thought that the day would come so soon

In the december issue of Hello Magazine is featured is a remarkable picture of a Jaguar with Late Jagat Singh ji, son of HH Mansingh ji and Gayatri Devi Jaipur.



I think that this picture has not been posted before.

another recent picture of the same car is also featured with Princess Lalitya kumari (Jagat singh ji's daughter)


Unfortunately I have clicked the picture with the cell phone hence the poor quality.

there is also a photoshoot of Kareena Kapoor with couple of Jaipur cars and some udaipur cars are featured too.

RJL-4008 & RJL-4009 - are they both ex-Jaipur ?

Wouldn't be right to say 'ex' Jaipur, the white car (4008) for sure is still retained, and the green cars (4009) remains in Jaipur, but I'm not sure if still owned by the estate. It attended the 2011 rally in Jaipur and appeared to be in fine fettle.

as Karl said it would be wrong to call them "EX".

RJL 4008 Earlier Jaipur -8 and RJL 4009 earlier Jaipur 9 are both still with the Royal Families , RJL4008 the white Jaguar was gifted by HH Sawai Mansinghji to then Maharani Gayatri Devi when their only son " Jagat" was born, this car is now owned by Gayatri Devi grandchildren, Devraj singh and Lalitya Kumari. This car might attend the 2014 Rally.

RJL 4009 The green Jaguar was also gifted by HH Sawai Mansinghji to his second son Maharaj Jai Singhji when he came back from UK after his studies, Jai Singhji has now gifted this car to his son after he completed his education.
