Thought of sharing a piece of information here, there's a Sipani Dolphin body shell with doors and hood lying at a scrapper.Shell seems to be in good condition, no cracks and all. If someone is interested i can share the contact info as that guy is well known to me.
Am attaching a couple of pics.

saw a pair of genuine VW dashknobs for post 67 beetle models ,at a shop here. quoted price seems reasonable

Hi All,
After a few years of being barred from doing any mechanical work due to health problems I am now on my feet again and wanting to work on the 2 projects close to my heart. I have a 1964 VW Varient 1600 cc, twin carb and need spares desperately. Engine cam bearings, crank bearings, pistons, rings, gasket kit etc etc. I had an address in Mumbai of a guy who was supposed to be the best source of such parts but have lost the info. Is there anyone among the host of knoweledgable guys here on Team HP who knows where I can source parts??
I also have a 1968 W114 or 115 even I don't really know which It was origanily a petrol engined car but at some time had a Traveller engine grafted in. It has the 3 speed hand shift GB. What I need for this is complete trims!!! Door rubbers, exterior trims ,window surrounds etc etc. Anybody with info on where I can get the bits ???

After a good amount of study and also discussing with experts in India &overseas,I have concluded that for engines of vintage/classic cars one must use monograde mineral engine oil. Synthetic multigrade manufactured by companies like Castrol suit new cars,but,might harm vintage/classic engines.I have a reliable source forvsuch engine oils.Interested persons may e mail me at csa063@gmail.com.No pms please.

I too have 1956 Millicento,I am planning to restore it,but need few spares like,,steering wheel FIAT monogram/egg shaped tail lamps/FIAT 1100 dicky monogram/FIAT bonnet monogram/wheels caps.

Friends please help me in this regard,where can i get the above spares and bring back my baby to prestine condition.

This made in GERMANY beetle tail pipe fitting kit (2sets) is available in a shop here.should fit all 60 to 76 beetles

Ajay Sir long time i am really happy that you find so many VW parts, my heart beats when i seen any VW parts for sale but the sad part is that i still don't own a beetle
