Very sorry I missed replying to your pm recently!

I have 1 FRONT bumper (actually taken from a select but would fit the millie too), which you can have. IIRC (stored in a shed in our building so havent seen it regularly! ) the chrome us ok. I dont think it has the guards though- will do?

I've 1 REAR bumper as well but that is a select/superselect one so not suitable for your car.

And yes, you're welcome to take that gear lever too (its from an early Delight though- chalega?)

Carb- wouldnt a Padmini one do?

BUMPERS: I'll take them. The guards, I have, are in perfect condition.
I'll take the gear lever too.

Carb: I'm still sourcing one. Solex is NOT available & I'm getting some duplicate version of some PALCO make, that even for 3K.

Pls advise, How shall I remit funds for bumper, Gear lever & Shipping?

Hmmm.......this is news to me! Solex carb for FIAT not available in Bombay! It is rather rare (and pricey) here of course.

I am looking for an Engine Head in good condition for my 1936 Fiat Topolino;500A. The design of this head was the same for all Fiat 500cc side valve engines. My head has become very weak due to pitting and age.This car was lying close to the sea for about 2 decades with the bonnet missing.If anyone can help,please e mail me.thanks in anticipation

I would like to know if there is anyway one could polish the reflectors of the head lamp assembly.I am in the process of restoring my 1988 contessa which came with the rectangular head lamps,but the reflectors are a little rusted and i am not able to find new lights.Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.Thanks in advance.

There is a special way of refinishing them just like rechroming. In Bombay there were specialists near the Minerva cinema. Got it refinished for my Mercedes 6 yrs ago still good!

This is the reason why most Topolinos died, and Mr. Kadam also struggled. Hopefully he managed to solve the problem, time will tell. Best to import a new head. There are still so many Topolonos lying around in India with dead engines.

However, there are quite a few here, amongst members as well as silent readers, who would probably make a beeline to this contact before the end-user gets to him, so it might be better to send a pm instead, with the seller's details, to the end-user, IMHO.
