Re: Vintage & Classic car parts info

Could someone identify this following parts (meter and warm gear driven wiper motor). The wiper seems to be warm or vacuum driven one.

This is a wiper motor that works on air or vacuum, most likely made by Trico of USA. These were seen in Caddilacs, I believe also in some Jeeps.
They still turn up unused.

This one is a car's. The Willys LHD jeeps had such vacuum wipers. The right wiper was manually operated and the driver's side (left) had the motor mounted in a black housing, on the top left side. The vacuum tube used to be fixed to the motor.I had one 1964 LHD Willys for use for sometime with me and also remember its Carter fuel pump and carburettor.

I'm sure too, the Willys old jeeps had vacuum operated wiper motors, but this one not seems to be the Willys type.

The Willys ones had a single viper blade per motor, but if you look at the picture I have posted shows that this single motor operates two viper blades with the relay and end of each relay has viper blade arm milling. I think this would have been used in some small car with a very narrow windscreen. Which one is that ?

Re: Vintage & Classic car parts info

Hi,
Can someone please help me source the following parts for my cars.

1955 Land Master
Tail Lights-Either lens or Complete Assembly(Both sides)-High priority as my car doesnt have them.
Front Parking Lights-Glass or plastic-anything will do-The car has these but need new set as I'm planning restoration very soon.
Dash board switches
Original Steering wheel along with horn switch(complete assembly)
The steel beedings on both left and right sides

1962 Ambassador Mark I
Tail Lights lenses(I need these for my Mark II also)

Also need wide white wall tyres, are these tyres still in production by any chance?

Thanks for all the help.

Re: Vintage & Classic car parts info

Hello,

I am on the lookout for a vintage Smiths rev counter, exactly as the one pictured for reference. These were used for sports cars of the mid-20s to mid 30s (British). Please let me know if any of you have one of these for sale.

Best Regards
Prithvi
